Hardcover, olive green cloth boards show darkening along the top and bottom edges along with some corner bumps. Exterior also show some minor spotting and soiling in the color of the text on the spine is worn. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues. Pages are toned due to age and there is some scattered foxing present, particularly on the end pages and the tissue guards for the frontispiece. No signatures or bookplates, no handwriting, no library markings found. The rear pastedown does have "Popular Edition" stamped in the lower inside corner and the front and rear end pages show large dark areas, presumably from the paper reacting with the (missing) dust jacket., G.
