Dr Kevin A Paine is a Lecturer in the Concrete Technology Unit (CTU) at the University of Dundee. His research focuses on sustainable construction and, in particular, methods for use of recycled and secondary aggregates in concrete and hydraulically bound material. He is also active in the development of design data to enable efficient use of low heat blended cements in the UK, and the utilisation of granulated rubber to improve freeze/thaw and thermal properties of concrete. Mr. M C Tang is a Research Fellow in the Concrete Technology Unit (CTU) at the University of Dundee. His research interest focuses mainly on the sustainable use of construction and industrial by-products as cement and aggregate components with a special interest in alkali-aggregate reactions in concrete.
