During this time I reached some low levels, almost to the point of paralyzation of my spirit itself, yet His inspiration sustained me. The life He breathed into me allowed me to record my pain and His healing of that pain. As my journey continued I went through highs and lows where my emotions overwhelmed me, ranging from deep despair to leaps of joy. He always brought me back to Him. That is where I needed to be, in touch with Him. It is my hope that whoever reads these words will recognize God speaking to them as He spoke to me. Having been involved in several vocations throughout my life I presently enjoy working with seniors in my community. I am a mother and grandmother who appreciates a quiet life in the country. The desire to write was planted when I was very young and I have written poetry at various times. Only in recent years has my focus centered on My Saviour and His words. I love the poems that Connie regularly shares with us, her church family. They are inspirational and a true blessing! The lives they touch go beyond the walls of our church into the community and beyond. - Cathy Kiar Connie Coughler is a blessing to me and to our whole church family. It has been a delight to watch her blossom in her relationship with our Lord. As her confidence in His love has deepened, so has her confidence in sharing her God-created gifts. These poems, this book, encourage us all to put our hand in His, and go one step at a time, trusting in His goodness and watch all His possibilities unfold. I know you will be blessed as you read To God be the Glory.
