Again, it is a case of us doing nothing proactive to reverse the course or fate of the osprey. All we had to do was provide habitat by not destroying it and stop using DDT (Platforms on top of utility poles and not removing dead trees was a simple enough course of action. And use of DDT has been banned in the United States.)
