Dieser Artikel spricht die neuen Herausforderungen für dieErgonomie an, welche durch die schnelle technologische Entwicklungentstehen. Wir können beobachten, wie durch diezunehmende Bedeutung von Software eine Verlagerung desForschungsschwerpunktes in der Ergonomieforschung vonhard factors zu soft factors stattfindet. Infolgedessen scheintdie Softwareergonomie die nächste Hürde in der Ergonomieforschungzu sein. Ergonomische Gestaltung im Informationszeitalterstellt andere Herausforderungen als einen Computernur benutzbar zu machen. Die technologische Entwicklunginvolviert Herausforderungen bezüglich der Implementierungvon Usability durch die Ausnutzung der neuen technischenMöglichkeiten, z.B. durch die Entwicklung von neuen,benutzergerechten Methoden für Zusammenarbeit (z.B.distributed computer supported work), ermöglichen vonneuen Interaktionsformen (z.B. basierend auf Gesten) und neuekognitive und emotionale Modelle für die Mensch-MaschinenInteraktion (z.B. emotional computing). Um die neuenGelegenheiten wahrnehmen zu können, welche die technologischeEntwicklung bietet, schlagen wir neue Forschung undEntwicklungen vor, die den folgenden vier Prinzipen und demDenken der Softwareergonomie folgt.Rapid technological development results in new challengesfor the ergonomics field. The technological developmentinvolves new challenges concerning the implementation ofusability by exploiting the new technical possibilities, e.g. by developing new user-centered aims for methods of work,enabling new forms of interaction, and developing newcognitive and emotional models for human computerinteraction (HCI). We suggest four guiding principles for further research and development in the field of softwareergonomics:1. The priorities for software ergonomics research need to bere-formulated2. Knowledge & models for applied perception andinformation processing need continuous re-evaluation3. A shift from technology driven to human factors drivenHCI design is due4. New methods for measurement of usability are necessary.This paper gives an overview over the actual challenges andpossibilities for software ergonomics given by newtechnological development.
