Norfolk Circuit, BedFord--The Whestlingworth Murder. --Sarah Dazley was indicted for feloniously administer ing a quantity of arsenic to William Dazley, her husband, on the 29th of October hist, whereof he died on the following day, by which means she wilfully murdered him. Mr. Prendergast and Mr. Gunning were counsel for the prosecution i Mr. OMulley for the defence. The prisoner, who at the time of her trial was of the age of twenty-two, was married to the deceased (her second husband) In the month of January 1841, and he died at Wrestlingworth somewhat suddenly on the 30th of October last year. Suspicious circumstances attended his exit from the world, but not of a character sufficiently definite to justify the interference of the coroner, and in due time the body was buried. However afterwards information was given to a neighbouring magistrate of some facts attending the death of the unfortunate noun which induced him to institute inquiries. The immediate consequence of this was that the coroner was called upon to interfere, and in the month of March, in the present year, he caused the dead body to be exhumed and an inquest to be summoned. After several adjournments the jury returned a verdict of Wilful murder ngainst the prisoner, and she was in consequence apprehended and imprisoned, The dcnd body Wks put into the hands of two surgeons in Bedford and underwent a minute examination. It appeared that whilst the head and face and the extremities were decomposed to a very great extent, the stomach and intestines were as fresh as if the man had been dead a few days only. The muscles of th stomach were imdccomposcd, and the stomach itself was of a light florid hue, showing, indeed, round red patches indicating the presence of some met. . .
